Supply and ocean-going tug operations, heavy and high lifting operations (sheer-legs to 1,000T), heavy lift dry towage operations on semi-submersible barges of 24,000 DWT, loading supervision of jack-up oil rigs on same. Shipmanagement of Diving Support Vessel contracted to Shell Sarawak. Development of joint venture between Owners and Malaysian partners (State Shipping Company). Negotiated wet and dry salvage contracts of vessels, equipment and cargo (tin, lead commodities), including deep water recovery.

Principal Surveyor, cargo and hull damage claims. Area Representative of U.S. Salvage Association, non exclusive surveyors to London S.A., P and I clubs and offshore fleet Owners. Contracted to represent IMCO (A Halliburton Company) in matters pertaining to cargo supervision. Contracted to Price International in matters pertaining to pipe and pipe-coating claims. Ship-handling and Navigational Aids study of the then new-building port of Jebel Ali (largest man-made port in the world) on behalf of Sir William Halcrow and partners. Advisor to Ruler on matters of Port Operational management, including economic analysis of Break-Even point forecasts.

Marine Pilot/Load Master/Safety Officer of tankers up to 300,000 DWT on c.b.m. berth facilities at Jebel Dhanna, U.A.E. and Sidon, Lebanon. Port operations management and economic evaluation on an annual basis. Marine Manager of offshore utility vessel fleet of 8 units.

Deck Officer on liners, general cargo ships and tankers trading world-wide, carrying crude/spikedcrude/fuel oils, bulk products, steel plate, steel coils, forest products (ex Pacific North West), reefer, automobiles and general cargoes.
