Bob Sheehan is the Manager of Marine Services for the newly formed Siemens Westinghouse Technical Services Inc. This was originally the Westinghouse Services Organization until its recent purchase by Siemens.

Operating from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, the Marine Services Group has been named a Center of Excellence for North American Marine Projects. This is a dedicated group of Marine Professionals in the Electrical and Mechanical fields who would be willing to offer their advice in the following areas.

• Propulsion System Redesign (Specializing in DC-DC Diesel Electric)
• Liquid Level Management Systems
• PC based Alarm and Monitoring Systems
• Customized Switchboards ,Panelboards and Control Systems
• Programmable Logic Controller upgrades
• Commissioning and Power System Studies

Bob is a graduate of the Technical University of Nova Scotia in Electrical Engineering and has been involved in the design and commissioning of Marine and Industrial Power and Control Systems for the past twenty five years. For the last several years he has been the Westinghouse Project Manager for the Department of National Defense "CFAV Quest " mid life and the Washington State Ferries propulsion system upgrades.

These major projects have been both exciting and challenging for the Marine Group as the complete design and manufacture has taken place in the Atlantic Provinces. They are exciting, because we are gaining recognition across the country and they are challenging because they involve areas such as acoustics, electromagnetic interference and harmonic analysis to a much greater degree.

We have recently had personnel working on projects in China, Europe and both coasts and as we continue to grow our mandate as a Center of Excellence we enhance our ability to provide you with the latest in marine solutions. We look forward to hearing from you.
