Athens Stock Exchange Opens to Shipping

The Stock Exchange in Athens has opened its door to shipping with the recent Government announcement. After reviewing the translations of the new law and government announcement, the Exchange has finally approved the listing of GR/EU shipping companies. Acomarit (Hellas), located in Piraeus, announced it is well placed to assist Owners who are interested in preparing their fleet and company for public flotation.

Acomarit, reminded the Greek shipping community in Piraeus that they are able to combine local knowledge of the owners and market with international reputation and standards to ensure competence, care and control.

They claim to be ready in all respects, as defined by LAW/2843/2000, to accept ships into management in order to fulfil one of the prime requirements of the law - Professional Ship Management. Acomaritís comprehensive range of shipmanagement services include Full Management, Crew Management, Commercial Management (Broking & Post Fixture), Marine Consultancy, Project Management and Ship Finance Consultancy.
