Several of Hamworthy Marine's most popular models of starting air compressors will now be carried as stock items, to give customers worldwide the shortest possible delivery lead times. The move helps reduce the danger of shipowners or shipyards being caught at a crucial moment, or for an extended time, without a vital item of equipment, which may delay a ship's sailing plans. Among the stock items Hamworthy Marine will be introducing are its most highly popular marine compressor models, including the 2TF5 series, and the full range of the new V-Line series. For many years Hamworthy's 2TF5 series of compressors have been standard items for many shipowners around the world. The new V-Line starting air compressors have, however, been in high demand since their launch less than two years ago. The compressor has also been successful in the retrofit market due to its ease of installation and cost saving benefits.
