Bigger Containers

      7/19/1999

SeaCell's unique design gives 40 cubic feet of extra capacity per 20ft equivalent unit (TEU) compared with a standard container ensuring a saving on transportation costs. SeaCells are slightly wider inside than standard dry cargo containers but their unique design allows them to fit into existing container cell guides and on the decks of container ships. Each 40-foot SeaCell fits five more Euro-pallets than can be loaded into a 40' standard dry cargo unit. More information: GE SeaCo Services Ltd
