Mr. Li Kejun has been appointed to be the President of China Classification Society (CCS) since January 1999. Mr Li worked at the China Classification Society as the vice-president from 1988 to 1994, and held the position of the Executive Director & Vice President of China Merchants Holdings Co., LTD in HONG KONG from 1994 to 1998. He previously was a lecturer at the Dalian Maritime University in 1975 and from 1978 began working at the Register of Shipping of P.R.C. as a principal surveyor, division chief, and Deputy Director successively. From 1988 to 1994,worked at the China Classification Society as the vice-president. In 1994, appointed to be the Executive Director & Vice President of China Merchants Holdings Co.,LTD in HONG KONG, mainly responsible for overall enterprise management, corporate re-engineering and restructuring. In January 1999 be appointed to be the Chairman & President of the China Classification Society. | |  | Mr Kejun graduated from Dalian Maritime University in 1975 and Mcgill University, Canada in 1978.
