The next Ship Production Symposium will be held in historic Colonial Williamsburg (USA) from August 23-25, 2000. A full technical program of papers, panels, workshops and industrial visits is planned along with a guest program that can only be offered in the unique Colonial Williamsburg setting. The Technical Tracks will follow the Maritech-Advance Shipbuilding Enterprise initiatives: * Business Process Technologies
* Product Design and Material Technologies
* System Technologies
* Shipyard Production Technologies
* Facilities and Tooling
* Education and Training
Papers reporting on M-ASE 1999 Projects are desired to show the achievements of, and improvements resulting from the M-ASE program. Abstracts for papers in these or related areas are invited from potential authors. Abstracts should be no more than one page, with author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), paper title and abstract. They should be sent by October 4, 1999 to: 2000 SPS
