Climate Change and Ships


Venue: Linthicum, MD (USA)

SNAME and the Marine Board of the National Academy of Sciences are sponsoring a symposium, "Climate Change and Ships: Increasing Energy Efficiency" on February 16 & 17, 2010 at the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS) in Linthicum, MD.

The symposium will have three tracks: Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and Energy Efficiency Design Index; GHG and Technical and Operational Measures to Increase Energy Efficiency (this includes port operations); and Maritime Economics and Market Based Mechanisms.
