Contracts for Anchor Handling Supply Vessels

Yantai Raffles Shipyard announced that it has secured multiple contracts with Tidewater Marine of USA to build five Large Anchor Handling Towing Supply Vessels. Tidewater’s commitment to build these vessels in Yantai Raffles Shipyard is part of their new build program announced last year in January 2000. The contract value is close to US$ 175 million.

In the past six months, Yantai Raffles Shipyard has secured orders to build six Voith Schneider Azimuth Harbor Tugs for a Middle East client, one 16,000 Bhp Anchor Handling Towing Supply Vessel for Klyne Tugs (UK) and one 5,400 Bhp Maintenance Support Vessel for SMIT Salvor B.V. The yard is also building a reputation in the luxury yacht market with order book of one 88m yacht, two 50m yacht, three 40m yacht, one 35m yacht and a series of 106 feet Aluminum sailing yachts.
