Creating an All-Energy Future, a conference and exhibition on the future of sustainable resources and the technology required to develop them, is to be held in Aberdeen in late February 2001. The event, a joint venture between Stowemar Investments and the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, is being held with the sponsorship of the Society for Underwater Technology.
With Diversification, Convergence and Renewable Technologies as its themes, the Creating an All-Energy Future conference sessions will first set the scene for future development in Aberdeen, the North East of Scotland, the UK, and North Sea littoral states. Then the conference will look closely at specific forms of renewable technology that best lend themselves to companies already active in the oil and gas industries and look at profitable short, medium and long-term diversification strategies. A two-day exhibition of technology for sustainable offshore resources will run alongside the conference.
Further conference and exhibition information will be available by early October from Judith Patten on behalf of Stowemar Investments at 34 Ellerker Gardens, Richmond, Surrey TW10 6AA, UK. Tel: +44 (0)20 8241 1912; Fax: +44 (0)20 8940 6211;
