MarineSafety International (MSI) provides simulator-based training courses for mariners working on various types of ships. The company offers to its clients so called Custom Training Package (CTP) concept. CTP provides a framework for working with their clients to conduct a risk assessment, design and conduct a training program that will result in demonstrated proficiency on the part of key members of ships' crews.

The MSI’s custom centric approach is also employed when assisting engineers in planning or improving major ports around the world by conducting man-in-the-loop simulator-based studies with pilots and ship operators. A hydrodynamic model is prepared for each ship that is used in a training scenario or in a port simulation study. The company has recently received ISO 9001:2000 Certification for its quality management system. The Assessment was conducted by ABS Quality Evaluations. The Quality Management System applies to all: "Design, Development and Conduct of simulator-based training and research for the maritime industry."
