Transas has commercially launched the latest version of its marine navigation and information system Navi-Sailor 3000. The Navi-Sailor 3000 ver.2 has been designed in line with the latest IMO regulations for UAIS interface. The system has been provided with the capability to send, receive and display UAIS transponder information exactly as it is prescribed by international requirements. Compliance is achieved in the UAIS message format, content and interface of the send/receive facility, while full static, voyage and ship movement data are displayed on the electronic chart screen in strict accordance with the international standards.

It incorporates user-friendly windows menu functions providing easy operation by crews of mixed nationality. In addition, the Transas system incorporates standard NMEA 183 interfaces to most commercially available radar and NavAids equipment, which makes this product an economical and flexible information integration solution for any type of commercial, passenger or naval vessels."Navi-Sailor 3000 is available with fully type-approved ECDIS hardware or it can be operated using conventional PC-hardware.
