FAST 2001

From 4-6 September 2001, the international maritime community will come together for the Sixth International Conference on Fast Sea Transportation. The FAST 2001 Conference and Exhibition will bring owners, builders, designers, equipment suppliers, service providers and policy makers from around the world to Southampton, premier seaport of the United Kingdom.

FAST 2001

FAST 2001 will be organised by The Royal Institution of Naval Architects and the University of Southampton, and will provide an invaluable forum for the exchange of information between those involved in the design, construction and operation of high speed marine craft.First held in Norway in 1993, the FAST Conference is held every two years. Over three days, the FAST 2001 Conference will bring together academics, designers, builders, operators, researchers and economists who are at the forefront of development in the high speed maritime industry, around the world. The associated Exhibition will provide a showcase for all aspects of the high speed vessel, from design to construction, including propulsion systems, electronics and auxiliary equipment, and services to that sector of the maritime industry.
