Marine software company, Barber Software Solutions (BASS) has recently secured a contract with the ship operator for the world’s leading producer of aluminium- Alcoa, Lib-Ore Steamship Company to supply IPS Fleet Management System. The Planned Maintenance System will be installed onboard three vessels.
IPS Fleet Management System is an optimal solution for planned maintenance, inventory control, fleet management and work planning. The Fleet Management System automatically keeps track of spare parts, work instructions, consumables etc across the fleet. The system is tightly integrated with BASS Purchasing (ASTRO) where the information flow takes place in both directions.
