The differentiating factor for winning the contract with Transpetro/Fronape was the fact that the ABS SafeNet suite of modules was more robust in terms of functionality and also had the capability to interface with their existing purchasing and financial system, commented Michael Johnson, Director of Operations, ABS Nautical Systems. Johnson says ABS SafeNet will be interfaced with SAP to create a powerful and fully integrated operational and financial control system for the organization’s fleet. Additionally, ABS Nautical Systems is developing a long term implementation and on-going support plan to meet the growing IT demands of its latest client. |
