Fluorescent Fixtures for Wet Locations

Phoenix Products Company has announced the release of the LFW Series Snaplight Wet Location Fluorescent light fixture. The LFW Series Snaplight Fluorescent is a UL fixture listed for use in indoor and outdoor environments susceptible to dust, dirt, and moisture; areas like canopies, parking garages, processing areas, shoreline facilities, and wastewater treatment plants.

The LFW Series Snaplight is built with a corrosion-free, high-impact fiberglass-reinforced, UV stabilized nylon housing and a high-impact polycarbonate diffuser. A watertight silicone gasketprovides a positive seal against moisture and dirt. To simplify relamping and maintenance, thediffuser is tethered to the housing, captive quarter-turn fasteners enable “tool-less” entry even intothe ballast compartment, and all external hardware is captive and non-magnetic stainless steel. The standard ballast is 120V, 60HZ high power factor. Alternative voltages are available. Phoenix offers other fluorescent fixtures designed for marine, hazardous-location, high-vibration, and other specialty applications.
