MarineLogic announced the release of its MaintainShip multi-user software tool to aid ship managers and shipboard engineers in tracking jobs, inventory, maintenance, landed materials, requisitions, purchase orders and company contacts. The software tightly integrates different types of data to help streamline their management. It facilitates data synchronization between different sites, including vessels with low-speed satellite data links. An easy-to-use graphical user interface and on-line help system allow users immediately benefit from the system with minimal training.

MaintainShip also allows users to import data from a text file to save effort from having to re-enter data from previous systems. The main features of this software tool are:
