Ebo Systems (France) has 40 years experience in the design and manufacture of GRP (glass reinforced polyester) profiles for the support and installation of electric cables. They hold many patents and presently provide the most complete range of such products in Europe. GRP cable support systems offer key advantages and have been increasingly used in the marine and offshore industry for the last few years.

Corrosion, one of the main problems associated with steel, is eliminated. The non corrosive properties of composite materials offer competitive advantages in presence of several highly corrosive chemicals including H2S, CO2 and chlorides in combination with salt water and oxygen. This non-conductive material is not affected by an electrolytic corrosion and guarantees a very good stability to UV. If today GRP material costs are still more expensive than galvanised steel, it is no longer true when compared to stainless steel or aluminium. The installation cost of Ebo Systems' products is low thanks to its inherent light weight and the unique interlocking features that facilitate quick assembly. On-site modifications are possible without the need of special tools and hot work.

GRP products are self-extinguishing. They do not release any toxic fumes or halogen when subjected to fire and insulate cables from the external heat.
