The fourth Ausmarine conference to be held in Fremantle, Western Australia on October 31 and November 1, 2000 will be entirely focused on practical and real issues in the commercial marine environment. The conference is specifically designed and planned to feature industry people discussing real problems and practical solutions. |

Peter Morris, former Australian Minister for Transport, current Chairman of the Australian Maritime Network, and a fervent campaigner for the Australian marine industry, has agreed to again assume the role of Conference Chairman. He will be assisted by four Session Chairmen: Mr. Mike Brown - W.A. Department of Transport, Fremantle, Mr. Jeremy Cresswell - Consultant to the offshore and commercial fishing industries, and regular journalist to both “Work Boat World” and “Fishing Boat World” magazines (Aberdeen), Mr. Klaus Nienaber - Technical Editor of HANSA magazine (Hamburg) and Mr. Asle Stronen - Editor of SkipsRevyen magazine (Oslo). |
