Internet Based Applications for Maritime Industry

The 4th WONDERMAR Public Workshop will take place in Bremen, Germany, on 7th December 2000. It will be of interest to technical managers particularly from small and medium sized enterprises that are interested either in the information technology-based business solutions or in the participation in future European research activities. In addition consultants, academics and the supplier community are invited to participate.

The presentations will outline importance and expected benefits of the Internet based electronic business applications for the maritime industry. Furthermore, an overview about the latest developments in the European research framework programme with high relevance for the maritime industry will be given.
Participants are invited to visit a small exhibition to obtain information on MARIFLOW, MARVIN, SYRIOS, DYCONET and SEANET as well as results related to national research projects and commercial software developments for the maritime industry.
