Litton Wins Radar Contract

      5/24/1999

Litton Marine Systems B.V., New Malden, UK, has been awarded a contract worth $2.2 million (USD) to supply the next generation of marine radars for the French Navy.
The contract calls for Litton to supply commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Decca BridgeMaster E series navigation radars, which will be retrofitted on up to 42 ships over the next three years. The radars will include special features for naval applications, such as red first strike, helicopter approach, freeze frame, target intercept, station keeping and multiple truncated index lines.
