Long-lasting Corrosion Control

‘Snokote’ is a cost-effective, long-lasting corrosion control product by Global Corrosion Technologies that increases the longevity of treated equipment. Snokote is especially effective in marine environments where traditional products typically fail. It has excellent whetting characteristics on metal, and displaces moisture to form a barrier against water and other corrosive elements.

Snokote protects air and water interface areas and provides protection for equipment such as wire cable, valves, actuators and flanges found on offshore oil and gas drilling rigs and platforms exposed to a corrosive marine environment. It can be used as a coating or filling material for voids found on ships and tankers, hollow rudders and drill water tanks. It can also be used to seal inaccessible areas from corrosion such as double-hull void spaces, J-tubes, under pipe saddle clamps, water tanks and anchor chain lockers. Other common applications include internal and external rust and corrosion protection for tubular goods, couplings and threads.
