Low-cost TV Tracking

TracVision® Cruiser, from KVH Industries, Inc., is breaking new ground with the lowest cost and lowest profile in the marine industry. Like other TV products from the worldwide leader in mobile satellite communications systems, TracVision Cruiser features dynamic satellite tracking, auto-acquisition, reacquisition and access to the most popular satellite broadcast services.

The TracVision Cruiser gyro-stabilized antenna accurately and continually tracks the satellites that deliver television broadcast services. Stabilization is critical to maintaining satellite contact in marine applications where a vessel can be subjected to pitch, roll and yaw. KVH’s patented three-axis gyro sensor constantly measures and counteracts vessel motion, ensuring that TracVision Cruiser sustains its lock on the satellite transmission and provides uninterrupted entertainment, news and weather.

The low-profile system is self-contained with all components inside an easy-to-install, flush-mount antenna dome that measures only 14 inches high by 31 inches in diameter. A complete TracVision Cruiser weighs less than 35 pounds and can be installed in approximately four hours on most vessels.
