Major Exhibition for Fishing Industry

Asia-Pacific Fishing/Ausmarine East 2001 exhibition and conference (3-5 July in Cairns, Australia) aims to contribute to the design, construction and operation of safe and efficient commercial fishing vessels of all types. The Conference will be a highly informative event for anyone involved with or interested in the regulatory, design, construction or operational issues relating to vessels of all sizes and purposes focusing on commercial fishing boats, but including passenger and vehicle ferries, pilot boats and other harbour craft, tugs and rescue and patrol boats.

Conference delegates will hear about new techniques, designs and equipment available in the market. Likewise, the suppliers and builders themselves will have a great opportunity to discern what the market requires and how to go about supplying it. Government representatives will also have a chance to respond.
As in the past, Baird Publications will be producing a high quality, hardbound, colour book of conference papers, a copy of which each conference delegate, speaker and exhibiting company will receive. The papers from the Asia-Pacific Fishing '97 and Asia-Pacific Fishing '99, covering many aspects of vessel ownership and fishing operations, are available from the publisher.
