Marine Electronics Service Center in Panama

Nautical Electronics of Panama City and Nera SatCom (Norway) announced the establishment of the Regional Service Center (RSC) for all of Nera’s products at the Panama Canal. This new RSC will provide high performance marine electronics service to the maritime community calling on ports in Panama and transiting the Panama Canal. Nera’s customers will now have a qualified service center in Panama to support their SatCom systems with local spares and factory trained technicians.

The center is located adjacent to the Port of Balboa at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal. The 9,000 sq. ft. facility has a state of the art marine electronics service center, customer support operations,administration, spare parts depot, product showroom and ample parking. Qualified engineers inRadar, GMDSS, VHF, HF/MF, SatCom, Video Sounders, Sonar and other marine electronicssystems provide world class and certified service to vessels transiting the canal or calling on theAtlantic or Pacific ports of Panama.

Nautical Electronics is part of a regional alliance of companies providing service to vessels transiting the Panama Canal and calling on ports of Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Central America, Venezuela and selected ports in the Caribbean.
