The Marine Technology Society announced the launch of its newly designed website. The website offers many new services, products, and information for everyone interested in marine science and technology and is the ideal site to visit for up to date information on the ocean community. Viewers will have ready access to business news, science and education news, and product information. Those seeking answers to questions can take advantage of the searchable sponsor database, providing ready access to marine products and services.

For students, researchers and scientists the website offers a free, searchable database of abstracts from the internationally recognized MTS Journal. Abstracts can be downloaded for free. All publications, including journals, conference and workshop proceedings, and educational material are available for online purchase.
The Marine Technology Society represents an international community of ocean scientists, policy-makers, engineers, technologists and students.

Founded in 1963, its membership consists of individual members, businesses, corporations, libraries, and institutions. The Society's mission is to disseminate marine science and technical knowledge; promote and support education for marine scientists, engineers and technicians; advance the development of tools and procedures required to explore, study and further the responsible and sustainable use of the oceans; and to provide services that create a broader understanding of relevance of marine sciences to other technologies, arts and human affairs.
