NANTES 2009 - Maritime & Port Security

Venue: Nantes, France

Following the success of the two previous conferences and in consideration of the political issues, economic repercussions and the human aspect linked to the application of the new security rules, Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port Authority and the National Merchant Marine Academy in Nantes have, once again, pledged their involvement in this 3rd edition which will focus on the following topic: “How to fight unlawful acts without penalizing the economy?”

In fact, unlawful acts (i.e. piracy) are more than ever in the economy of today. It will allow us to identify the operational priorities for progress and investment which will help in the development of maritime and port economies.

This Conference will be the occasion to meet and exchange with a panel of leaders through sessions and round tables led by international experts and through a programme proposed by a scientific committee of well-known specialists.
