FT NavVision is a Marine Navigation and Virtual Instrumentation System, developed by Free Technics BV and now available in North America from The Wired Boat Co. FT NavVision monitors all engine and generator data, including multiple engines, fuel consumption, battery levels and tank levels of up to 20 tanks. Navigation and Virtual Marine Instrumentation

All instruments and values have high and low alarms and may be individually adjusted. Alarms can be displayed in different formats, even while other programs are running. Alarms may also be sent to external devices such as cell phones, pagers, e-mail or other computers. A stand alone Alarm Panel with up to 48 parameters is available. FT NavVision keeps a complete log of all measured parameters.FT NavVision comes in several modules from Basic Navigation through Advanced Navigation and Single and Twin Engine Instrumentation Screens. For navigation purposes, the system monitors NMEA0183 or NMEA2000 data and displays this data in instrument form on a computer screen.

FT NavVision is hardware independent and supports the following hardware: Network Server and Client; PLC Environments; VDO-EDB and GDB Interface; Wago and Advantech I/O systems; CAN-Bus or SAE J1587 protocols as well as NMEA 0183. NMEA 2000 and SAE J1939 interfacing available on request.
