New Filtration Product

      7/12/1999

Improvements in oil, fuel, hydraulic and water filtration are now available for use in marine, transportation, oil field on and offshore stationary engines. The use of rare earth magnets has been proven to be a cost effective method of reducing wear in machinery components in virtually any type of machine from engines, gears, hydraulics, fuel etc. MagScot Inc. represents a company which developed a method of improving existing filtration systems through the use of rare earth magnets. Improvements in the wear rate of mechanical components have been realized by means of simple products. They can be configured in any size in rod or pad design. Using the pad design, no tools are required for installation. The rods are, in most cases, simply locked in position by a stud and nut device. The products are warranted for a period of three years and are reusable after cleaning during this period of time. It is expected that a life of no less than five years can be attained.
