The Pacific Northwest Maritime Institute is proud to announce our new name, location, simulation, and curriculum.
Established in 1972:
The Maritime Administration School was renamed the Pacific Northwest Radar School and was administered by Instructor Bob Campion. Under his excellent instruction and dedication the school thrived and quickly built a strong reputation by offering Mariners the best training possible using the latest in technology. New Name:
We changed our name to the Pacific Northwest Maritime Institute as we are now offering many courses and do not wish to be identified as solely a Radar School.
New Location: We are now conveniently located at the corner of Third & Battery, just minutes walk from the Space Needle and Downtown Seattle. We have established school lodging rates with the Best Western Executive Inn, and the Vermont Inn which are both just a couple of blocks away. New Curriculum: Our curriculum has expanded and we now offer all of the STCW Courses. Our goal has been accomplished as we can now offer all of your training needs. The name has changed but our dedication to offering the best training using the latest in technology continues.
