Over 170 surveys were actioned by Piraeus-based surveyors during 1998. These ranged from initial surveys for class acceptance, intermediate and annual surveys, tanker and bulk carrier enhanced surveys and other occasional surveys and inspections, all of which are reported to and controlled by PRS Head Office Survey Department.
