New Underwater Camera

DeepSea Power & Light has introduced the LED Multi-SeaCam. The new combination camera/light system is a versatile complement to the Multi-SeaCam family. By incorporating a ring of 24 ultra bright and durable LED lights around the lens, the LED Multi-SeaCam can venture into smaller areas than ever before. Though the concept is nothing new for DeepSea, it is the first time they have adapted this technology to a camera with a depth rating of 4000 meters (13,123 feet).

The new camera is ideal for manipulator arms that need to work in very tight areas at great depths, and any other confined area requiring a camera and light. By combining the lights and camera into one small package, and utilizing rugged LED lights, it is possible to see the problem at hand and avoid wasting expensive hours fumbling in the dark.LED lights are far more durable than incandescent lights. Unlike incandescent lights, LEDs will last the life of the camera. The extremely long life and durability of LED lights make this system ideally suited for long term deployment where bulb changes and maintenance are difficult.
