New Zealand Division of RINA

New Zealand Division of RINA

New Zealand Division of RINA to be formed. The Royal Institution of Naval Architects and the Naval Architectural Society of New Zealand have agreed to merge to form the New Zealand Division of RINA. Members of the NASNZ will transfer to RINA. New Zealand has developed an international reputation for the successful design and construction of small craft, and the merger will provide the opportunity for all naval architects in New Zealand to share and develop their knowledge in existing and new areas of the industry worldwide.

This merge will benefit all members of the Institution in New Zealand, and the Institution as an international organisation. In addition, the increased number of members will give greater opportunity for Institution activities at national and local level in New Zealand and an increased profile for the Institution in the region.
