Successfully obtaining security for shipping and the enforcement of awards is a key part of maritime law and Practice. Lloyd's List events presents this two day conference held in Inmarsat Conference Centre EC, London. It will identify the remedies available including arrest, freezing orders, detention and attachment of non-ship assets.

The challenges of obtaining security in different jurisdictions will be a central feature of this year's conference and experts will give advice on obtaining security in: Russia, China, USA, South Africa, The Netherlands, Spain, England & Wales.Tracing of assets, sovereign/state immunity and the view of P&I clubs will also be discussed.Included in the conference will be a workshop looking at the practical difficulties of arresting ships.

This well established annual conference brings together professionals from all over the world to discuss and debate the best ways of obtaining security in different jurisdictions.
