In lieu of IBC’s widely successful OSV conference held in 2009, this follow up event will focus on analysis of the offshore markets, still recovering from the credit crunch and global recession. As an event under the Singapore Maritime Week 2010, the 2nd Annual Offshore Support Vessels Asia-Pacific conference is unique to Asia – it is the only conference in the region to explore the commercial OSV supply and demand scenario.
In 2010, we will assess the impact of worldwide OSV over-supply and long-term demand scenarios. Updates on future oil and gas projects and focus sessions on the growing offshore markets of India, China, South-East Asia and Australia will make this a lucrative event for ship owners and offshore specialists. Panel discussions and in-depth sessions on recent shipyard orders, deliveries and cancellations will be of great value to understand the impact on day-rates. Presentations will also cover FPSO support requirements, disputes in ship-building contracts, cabotage laws in Indonesia, low-emission vessel features, drilling rig statistics, marine logistics and crewing challenges.
