Phoenix Changes Corporate Name


Phoenix Marine, Inc. announced that they have formally changed their name to Phoenix International, Inc. The new identity reflects the company’s increased presence in the international market place and a commitment to provide services to a broad base of international customers requiring specialty underwater services. Phoenix International, Inc. is a marine services company based in Virginia (USA), with core business focused on the performance of complex operations in the underwater environment.

Phoenix Changes Corporate Name

Operations include inspection, maintenance, repair, installation, and recovery projects using a combination of remote sensing tools, divers, Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), and Atmospheric Diving Suits (ADS).
Phoenix holds the NAVSEA Diving and Diving Related Services contract, a prestigious five year contract to provide worldwide diving and related underwater engineering services to the US Navy's Office of the Supervisor of Salvage. Under this contract, Phoenix provides specialty underwater services ranging from shallow water, surface supplied diving to deep water saturation diving. Phoenix engineering and dive teams support Navy requirements for recovery of aircraft, vessels, and ordnance lost in the water, as well as underwater inspection, maintenance, welding, and repair of USN surface combatants and submarines.

The company has successfully executed projects domestically on the East, Gulf, and West Coasts, as well as in Hawaii. Internationally, Phoenix operations teams have executed projects in Guam, Brazil, Greenland, Cyprus, Bahrain, Dubai, and Japan. The company conducts complex manned and unmanned underwater operations worldwide.
