Marine Software Limited (UK) has supplied Marine Planned Maintenance for Windows to Seabulk Offshore (Nyon, Switzerland) for their seven vessels. Planned Maintenance setup was completed in house, after delivery of a skeleton setup by Marine Software for a lead vessel. The Company also conducted a four-day training course in order to introduce the ship owner’s technical staff to the use and operation of the software.

A small project team was also trained to facilitate the in-house setting up the planned maintenance systems for a total of thirty-four vessels. This approach helps to contain the total project cost, facilitates tailoring of the system to reflect company specific guidelines and practices and assists the ship owner to build up an in-house expertise. The planned maintenance system, for the lead vessel a 105,000 ton tanker, was set up by the in-house team within one month.
