Huntingdon Fusion Techniques Limited has launched a new range of very low cost expanding plugs for purging pipes and pipework fabrications.

The Expanding Purge Plugs can be used on small diameter pipework where conventional pipe purging devices are not suitable and on pipework fabrications where there are a number of branches and ends to seal.
This new range of plugs is manufactured from nylon which is a high quality engineering polymer giving high accuracy, a guarantee of sealing and a long life-time. The inert nylon and natural rubber materials ensure that the Argweld® Plugs can be used in all critical welding applications where the quality of purge and the weld root are of paramount importance.Hollow shaft plugs come with a sealing end cap with internal rubber seal as well as a hose connector tailpiece and nut for connecting a gas inlet hose or vent hose.
