Professional Referral Service

SNAME members were invited to participate in a new referral service earlier this year. For a fee of $10, participating members categorized their expertise, and agreed to allow the release of their e-mail addresses, enabling headquarters to forward incoming requests for services that appear to match their expertise. To date about a dozen incoming requests have been circulated, and SNAME have started to assess non-members who request the use of the service for a fee as well, to help cover the cost of the necessary staff time.
SNAME do of course warn people who request the service that once a member contacts them all arrangements are between themselves and the member, and that the Society accepts no responsibility for the results. Members who want to participate but passed up the opportunity initially may sign up now, by contacting Eileen Romanelli, Service Center Manager.
