RoRo Packages

Under a contract with a total value of US$8.3 million, including installation, MacGREGOR is supplying cargo access/transfer systems for two large RoPax ferries ordered by Baltic operator TT-Line from Germany's Fähr- und Spezialschiffbau GmbH yard. TT-Line's new pair of 36,000gt RoPax ferries will benefit from extensive MacGREGOR cargo access/transfer equipment designed to achieve high handling efficiency with safety and reliability.
Each ferry will offer some 2,700 lane-m capacity for cars and trucks over three decks. MacGREGOR's shipsets will comprise: bow door, bow ramp/door with disconnectable ramp, stern ramp, stern ramp/door, tiltable ramp, two side ramp/doors, two ramp covers, hoistable ramp, pilot, bunker and passenger doors, provisions container hatch, scissors lift, hatch cover for scissors lift, hydraulic power packs.
