RoRo packages serve Grimaldi's PCTC series

Grimaldi has returned to MacGREGOR for three PCTC RoRo outfits. MacGREGOR’s long links with the Italian group’s newbuilding projects are extended by RoRo cargo access/transfer systems specified for three PCTCs ordered by Grimaldi Naples from Uljanik Shipyard in Croatia. Ship deliveries are scheduled in 2001/2002, and options are held for another three newbuildings. The 7,200gt/12,800 dwt multipurpose class is designed to carry up to 4,300 cars or 3,000 lane-m of trailers and trucks as well as project freight.

Safe and efficient cargo handling will be executed by a MacGREGOR outfit comprising: stern quarter ramp/door side ramp/door bulkhead doors ramp doors movable flaps pump unit. These vessels are similar to a series of four PCTCs previously ordered from Uljanik Shipyard, recently delivered to Jan Erik Dyvi AS and currently being built for Krupp Seeschiffahrt, which are also equipped with MacGREGOR RoRo cargo access/transfer systems.
