Rov - New 12 Volt Version

In response to customers working in harsh marine environments Ohmex have produced a 12 volt version of the existing VideoRay Remotely Operated Vessel. The unit includes a modified power supply together with a small colour LCD to enable the system to be used safely from a standard 12 volt car battery. In addition to portability the modified system has the benefit of removing the open boat hazard of higher voltage power supplies normally associated with ROVs.

VideoRay 2000

The standard VideoRay 2000 is connected by a neutrally buoyant tether just 10mm in diameter that extends 75 meters and functions in choppy surface conditions. A connection from VideoRay 2000 to a monitor or TV set provides the operator with the view from the VideoRay 2000's eye.

The unit is contained in two rugged cases that are easily carried by hand. The controller makes operation as easy as playing a video game. Two halogen lights provide illumination in dark waters. VideoRay 2000 can sustain in temperatures ranging from 32 to 122 degrees F, or 0-40 degrees C.
