Rust Removal from Pipes

Norway-based company Dalseide Shipping Services (DSS) introduced a new concept for rust removal from pipes. DSS, with a long experience of manufacturing rust removal systems has developed a new mechanical device designed for de-scaling and cleaning outer pipe surfaces - 360 degrees in one operation.

Rustibus Pipe has a capacity of cleaning pipe surfaces up to 25 metres/hour and offers the surface treatment to SA2.5. Devices are available for 2-12 inch pipes and they weigh from 5.7 to 15 kg. Rustibus Pipe can be used to maintain pipes on board ships, offshore rigs, and any other facilities where pipes are utilized.

One person can quickly install the device around the pipe and no extra tools or skilled labour are required. DSS claim that substantial time and cost saving can be achieved comparing to conventional methods.
