17th & 18th September 2007
Venue: London, UK
3rd International Ship Noise and Vibration conference will run concurrently with the 5th International Ship Propulsion Systems Conference at the Kensington Hilton Hotel London. Attending the Marine Engineering Forum allows a chance for participants to visit both conferences and provides a unique opportunity to network and discuss potential business during refreshment breaks and at the evening reception.
This is an exceptional event as it is the only 'Noise and Vibration' conference focusing solely on the maritime industry. Over two days, industry experts will report on the latest technologies and solutions available for noise & vibration reduction and control.
The third conference will examine new research into the effect on crew and vessel of engine, machinery, propulsion, as well as structurally caused: noise and vibration. Topics will cover new measurement and analysis methodologies including measurement of underwater noise, marine mammal sensitivity, new design solutions for noise sensitive vessels, discussions on comfort class rules with focus on merchant vessels and their environmental impacts.
