Ship Production - Call for Papers

This Ship Production Symposium is a well-known annual event where results of research supported by sources including the National Shipbuilding Research Program Advanced Shipbuilding Enterprise (USA) are presented. The symposium will be held in conjunction with the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) Annual Meeting, and International Maritime Expo. The conference is dedicated to assist the US shipbuilding and repair industry in achieving and maintaining global competitiveness with respect to quality, time, cost and customer satisfaction.

The theme of the symposium is: “United We Stand….People, Processes and Tools Coming Together in a New Culture.” The seamless integration of these “systems,“ including the workforce development to support the systems and processes, is the key to our future. An exchange of ideas on this subject will be of the utmost value to the technical community.
