At least thirty of the most significant ship and boat builders from around South East Asia, India, Sri Lanka, Australia and the Gulf will be showing their wares at the Work Boat World Asia 2001 conference and exhibition to be held at Suntec City in Singapore on February 20 - 22, 2001. This event attracts attention of anyone who has any commercial or military interest in the sea.

Work Boat World Asia 2001 is aimed at owners, and operators of all kinds of commercial and military vessels up to around 130 metres in length. It covers tugs, offshore support vessels, ferries, patrol, pilot and rescue boats, pollution recovery vessels, fishing boats, smaller warships, and all kinds of workboats. In addition to this wide range of leading builders, a number of other suppliers to the industry, such as engine and electronics manufacturers, safety equipment suppliers, paints, coats and materials manufacturers, governments, classification societies, and just about any other organisation involved with the small ship industry are exhibiting too.
