A new e-business print publication for the maritime industry, Digitalship, has been established in London. The first issue, which will hit the newsstands in early October, will focus on developments in online chartering, electronic charts and the latest at Inmarsat. There will be in-depth coverage about online procurement and software.
Digitalship is edited by Dolly Robinson and Karl Jeffery, both previously editors of Compuship magazine. Advertising sales manager is Theo Theodorou, previously advertising manager of Compuship magazine. The monthly print magazine will be supported by a free e-mail newsletter containing the latest news, opinions and gossip about shipping e-business.
The magazine will cover the full range of maritime e-business activities, ranging from shipbroking and sale and purchase to electronic charts. Ship to shore communications and software will also be covered in depth, along with the latest developments in online procurement and bunker fuel procurement.
