ShipyardXchange Proves Effective

The shipyards using ShipyardXchange (SYX) marine marketplace have to date distributed 1000 requests for quotation through the e-procurement portal. At the same time they have awarded orders for almost € 20 million to participating suppliers. The 1000th Request for Quotation was recently distributed by Aker Brevik shipyard. SYX is an independent company providing an Internet B2B portal to simplify, automate and support the procurement and selling processes used for strategic, non-standard goods and services for shipbuilding projects.
