Turbocharger Oil

      8/16/1999

Enersyn TC-S 68 is a synthetic PolyAlphaOlefin (PAO) based lubricant specifically recommended for marine diesel engine turbochargers with self contained lubrication systems. It has been designed to meet the requirements of ABB and is fully approved as a List 3 lubricant. It is also suitable for certain types of rotary air compressors.

The main advantages of an extended 5,000 hour turbocharger oil change are:
1. Reduced maintenance requirement
2. Reduced fire hazard by extending the oil change interval.
3. Reduced risk of failure due to poor oil pump suction after oil change.

The main performance features are exceptional oxidation resistance, thermal stability at elevated operating temperatures, excellent anti-corrosion characteristics and low traction co-efficient minimising internal friction. This oil is compatible with commonly used seals and coatings.
