January 15-17, 2001 Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida (USA)

The Underwater Intervention Committee is currently accepting abstracts for technical papers to be presented at the upcoming UI 2001 event, to be held January 15-17, 2001 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Fla. The UI 2000 conference hosted an array of papers that examined the best technologies and practices of today, and looked at prospective industry trends and markets worldwide. The coming conference is expected to carry this diversity to the next level, providing the blueprint for a bold future in the underwater industry.

Technical presentation topics at UI 2001 will include combined ROV, diver, and submersible operations; submarine cable installation and maintenance; platform, pipeline, and production system installation and maintenance; commercialization of AUVs; inshore diving and ROV utilization; contaminated diving; bridge inspections; search and salvage; safety, certification, and insurance; and industry trends.
